I once read somewhere, “Personalize rhetoric and it speaks to your mind, personify her and it speaks to your soul.”  My father was one of the greatest orator in his times and one can only hope to gain that skill for words can indeed build monuments and break hearts.  It is an effective tool which mediates between our thoughts and our actions.

Many politicians have overused this power thus, loosing credibility with this tool.  It is a shame really for if you have integrity, you can use it to mould the minds of individuals and lead them to something far greater than themselves - to accomplish goals that only the collaboration of individuals can create.  

I take my words seriously.  I like it how they say it nowadays, “my word is bond” for it really is!
