Achievements:
1. On youth and sports development: Under the leadership of Alvin Mobo, the foundation was able to put up various successful basketball tournaments. Among the stood outs was a young Aklanon, Winnie Arboleda. With the help of the foundation, Winnie was introduced to Ibajay team coach Bonnie Garcia who facilitated Winnie’s eventual penetration into the professional basketball league. Winnie still remains an active basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association with the Air 21 Team and a role-model to young Aklanons.
In the past, the foundation was also the main sponsor of the tune up games of the RP Team with the Alaska team prior to RP team’s departure for the Southeast Asian Games.
As late as last month, the foundation aided the municipality of Ibajay that hosted 11 teams from all over the country during the qualifying games for the Southeast Asian Inter-collegiate Games. The foundation brought in live play-by-play radio coverage of the games as well as helped pay for the professional referees.
